Ammu's Homestay traces its origins to a personal journey of rediscovery by Mr. K. V. Pradeep- The Founder. After spending years working in an MNC in Hyderabad, he became weary of the fast-paced city life and longed for the simplicity of his roots. In 2015, he boldly decided to leave the corporate world behind and return to his homeland, Wayanad, with dreams of reconnecting with nature through farming. Upon his return, he began constructing a home for his family, intending for them to join him in due time. However, with his family’s move to Kerala delayed, Mr. Pradeep saw an opportunity. Instead of letting the house sit empty, he decided to transform it into a homestay, inviting travelers to experience the beauty of Wayanad. Thus, Ammu's Homestay was born, offering guests not just a place to rest, but a chance to immerse themselves in the tranquility and natural charm of the region. Through this venture, Mr. Pradeep turned his retreat into a welcoming space for others to enjoy the serenity he had found.
